Dr. Ludmila Kuncheva is a Reader at the University of Wales, Bangor. Her research interests lie in pattern recognition and classification, multiple classifier systems, diversity, classifier and cluster ensembles, computational intelligence methods, feature selection. She is also the author of the popular book “Combining Pattern Classifiers”, by John Wiley, & “Fuzzy Classifier Design” by Springer.
Prof. Mahesan Niranjan is Professor of Machine Learning at the Department of Computer Science, University of Sheffield, UK and heads the Machine Learning group. His current research interests are in the area of applying machine learning techniques to solve computational biology and bioinformatics problems. He also has research interests in speech recognition and NLP.

John Shaw-Taylor Speaker 4
Prof. John Shawe-Taylor is the Head of Information, Signals, Images, Systems Research Group at the Electronics and Computer Science Department, University of Southampton. His research interests include support vector machines and kernel methods. He is the co-author of well known book "An Introduction to Support Vector Machines", published by Cambridge University Press.

Prof. Sameer Singh is Director of Research School of Informatics at Loughborough University. His main research interests include patern recognition, computer vision and autonomous systems. In particular, he is interested in multiresolution pattern recognition. He is on several editorial boards and has published over 160 research papers.
